Julio N. Colomba joined Murphy, Campbell, Alliston & Quinn as an associate attorney in 2017. Mr. Colomba represents public entities and private clients in general civil litigation. His work with public entities includes litigating claims for power theft and property damage as well as defending claims alleging dangerous conditions of public property under Government Code § 830, et seq.
Prior to joining Murphy Campbell, Mr. Colomba held a litigation fellowship at a non-profit constitutional litigation firm, where he authored amicus briefs and litigated cases involving cutting-edge issues of constitutional and environmental law. Previously, Mr. Colomba worked at one of the nation’s top law and policy think-tanks in its constitutional law group.
He graduated from George Mason University School of Law in 2013 and from Dartmouth College in 2007 with a B.A. in Philosophy. He is licensed to practice in California, Virginia, before the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals, and before the Eastern District of California. He is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel.
