Tim N. Zamanigan

Home / TeamTimothy N. Zamanigan joined Murphy, Campbell, Alliston & Quinn as an Associate Attorney in 2018. He practices general civil litigation for both private and public entities.  A primary focus of his practice is working with public entities to recover for damage to public property and for power theft. Mr. Zamanigan earned both his J.D. and B.A. from the University of California, Davis, establishing himself as a “Double Aggie” and a Sacramento local. At King Hall, UC Davis’s School of Law, he graduated with a certificate in the Public Service Law Program, having focused his curriculum on community work and the public sector. During his time there, he served as a Managing Editor of the Journal of International Law & Policy, Class Representative of the Law Students Association, and even President of King Hall’s singing group, Law Cappella. Prior to joining Murphy, Campbell, Alliston & Quinn, Mr. Zamanigan worked in a variety of legal positions, including internships at the Los Angeles Office of the Attorney General and UC Davis’s Office of the Campus Counsel. Mr. Colomba represents public entities and private clients in general civil litigation.  His work with public entities includes litigating claims for power theft and property damage as well as defending claims alleging dangerous conditions of public property under Government Code § 830, et seq. Prior to joining Murphy Campbell, Mr. Colomba held a litigation fellowship at a non-profit constitutional litigation firm, where he authored amicus briefs and litigated cases involving cutting-edge issues of constitutional and environmental law.  Previously, Mr. Colomba worked at one of the nation’s top law and policy think-tanks in its constitutional law group. He graduated from George Mason University School of Law in 2013 and from Dartmouth College in 2007 with a B.A. in Philosophy.  He is licensed to practice in California, Virginia, before the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals, and before the Eastern District of California.
