Ms. Johnson represents private clients in civil litigation, covering a variety of areas of law including contracts, personal injury, property damage and employment. Although Ms. Johnson has represented plaintiffs, she primarily focuses on representing defendants. Ms. Johnson also defends railroad companies in cases brought under the Federal Employer’s Liability Act. Ms. Johnson has represented clients in every step of litigation, from the pleadings stage through trial in California state courts.
During law school, Ms. Johnson served as a summer law clerk to both the Hon. David S. Prince of the Fourth Judicial District of Colorado and the Hon. David R. Chaffee (Ret.) of the Orange County Superior Court. Ms. Johnson also served as President of Outside the Law, a student organization, and as a law school representative to the Michigan State University Student-Faculty Hearing Board.
In addition to working as a lawyer, Ms. Johnson also serves as a Reservist in the United States Navy Reserve.
